Practicing Tango Elements
Exercises to improve balance, speed and build muscle memory.
Posture, change of weight, balance, embrace, walking forward / backwards, inside & outside, (using disassociation) connecting.
Musicality, changes of speed, dynamics, savour the pause, enjoy rhythm and syncopation.
Turns / rotations and counter-rotation, pivoting technique for the leader, techniques for both roles, lapiz and enrosques.
Class 2 – 8 pm (60 minutes)
Tango Salon Style – Harmony and connection in the couple. Close embrace and vertical axis. Techniques of circular, linear and traditional walking.
